People across the states are enjoying the unlimited data and voice calls to any network till 31st march 2017 by Reliance Jio network. With the entry of Reliance Jio several telecommunication networks have seen a dip in the sales. The service benefit has been extended for 3 more months from December 2016 and to avail this benefit of unlimited data and voice calls many registrations are taking peak.
Recently there were many messages on Whatsapp and social media claiming free data and voice calls for 1 year from Airtel and BSNL and the offer last only few days. There were messages like “In order to avail free 4G data and unlimited free voice calls benefit register immediately by clicking the link provided below”. The telecom companies made it clear that they are not providing any such free 4G data and unlimited voice calls to any of the customers. It has been proved to be a complete hoax message and the intension behind such messages would be to hack important information from people.
All the messages which were circulating on Whatsapp and social media is a complete spam and the spam messages read “with every BSNL 4G express SIM one gets free voice calls, unlimited SMS and unlimited data for 1 year and also additional freebies”, “Get your free 4G express SIM today with 10 Mbps data speed, offer valid till 31st December 2016”, “LOOT OFFER FOR ALL AIRTEL USER-free 4G, 3G data, unlimited free calls to all networks for months” and asks you to click a link provided along with it to avail the benefit. Once you click the link it takes you to a phishing site. So friends do not fall for such hoax and spam messages and alerts on Whatsapp and social media which claim free 4G, 3G data, unlimited free voice calls to any network and free SMS.
