It is not a rare sight to witness a film not releasing on given date. It may get postponed due to various reasons. Though the south Indian films are not firm on given release dates like Bollywood, they are slowly catching up the tradition. Films like Khaidi No:150 and Gautami Putra Shatakarni are going to release as per the scheduled dates. But few other big films like guru and Mahesh 23 were pushed yet again.
A few months back, it was reported that Venkatesh’s Guru will release on Christmas. Later, it was announced that makers are planning it to release on Republic day. Now, it is being heard that it will release on April 7. Though the shoot was wrapped up long back, the makers are searching for a suitable slot for the release. Meanwhile, even Mahesh Babu’s next also got postponed. First, it was slated for April 14 release. Not, it got pushed to June 23. Anyways, an official announcement is yet to be made by the makers of both the films.
