Actress Anushka Shetty is basking in the success of her latest flick Bhaagamathie. While Sweety is yet to soak in the success streak, she has one more big project in her kitty. As per the reports, Anuhska would join the most anticipated project Mahanati, a biopic on the yesteryear actress Savitri. It is learnt that, she has been roped in to play yesteryear actress Bhanumathi who plays a pivotal role in Savirti’s life.
We need not iterate that Bhanumathi and Savirti were contemporaries of their time, and the former had much influence on Savitri’s life. A source said that they makers think Anushka has the trait who can pull off the character with ease and without effort. We are yet to hear about the official announcement on thid from Sweety. Meanwhile, Mahanati stars Keerthy Suresh, Samantha, Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Devarakonda.
The film is being wielded by Nag Ashwin who acclaimed popularity after Yevade Subramanyam . A bilingual film being made in Tamil and Telugu, the film is slated to release on March 29 under the banner of Vyjayanthi movies.
