As a result, the Telugu industry is missing opportunities during peak seasons like summer, where no major films are hitting theaters.

Prabhas is the only one among them currently working on multiple projects. But even his schedules are irregular, with frequent delays. For example, his film *The Raja Saab*, which was expected to release this year, now faces uncertainty.

On the other hand, Malayalam stars continue to stay active. Mohanlal released two big films—*L2: Empuraan* and *Thudarum*—within two months. Mammootty has had a string of back-to-back releases, including *Christopher*, *Kannur Squad*, *Bramayugam*, and *Turbo*. Other Malayalam actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Joju George, and Basil Joseph are also maintaining steady work without long breaks.

Their success comes from a clear approach: choose strong scripts, control the budget, and release films on time. This method keeps the industry vibrant and audiences engaged. It also gives chances to new talent and directors.

If Telugu cinema wants to stay strong and relevant across India, it may need to adopt some of these Malayalam strategies. Regular releases, good content, and practical planning could help keep the Telugu film industry both profitable and respected.

However, despite the attractive offer, Nana decided to say no. His reason? He didn’t find the role interesting or powerful enough to match his creative expectations. He believed the character lacked depth and would not satisfy him as an actor.

This was a surprising move, especially considering this would have been Nana’s first major South Indian and pan-India project in many years. Fans were excited to see the combination of Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, and Nana Patekar, but it now seems that the team will have to look for a replacement.

Allu Arjun enjoyed massive success with Pushpa 2, which released in December 2024. He is now preparing for a film with director Atlee, but the shoot won’t begin until October. This film is expected in 2027, so Allu Arjun will also be absent in 2025 and likely 2026.
