Performances

His look in the film is inconsistent; while appropriate in some scenes, his unnatural hair color disrupts the authenticity.

The second half needed to build on emotional hooks and deliver a satisfying climax, but it falters, leaving the audience disconnected.

The absence of a strong antagonist and poorly developed conflicts further weaken the film. Songs, instead of adding value, disrupt the narrative flow, contributing to the overall monotony.

Verdict

గణ అలియాస్ గణపతి (అల్లరి నరేష్) సబ్ రిజిస్ట్రార్ ఆఫీసు ఉద్యోగి. తన కంటే ముందు తమ్ముడు (విరూపాక్ష ఫేమ్ రవికృష్ణ)కి, మేనమామ కూతురు దేవి (జేమీ లివర్)కి పెళ్లి చేస్తాడు. వయసు ఎక్కువ కావడంతో పాటు పెళ్లైన తమ్ముడు ఉండటంతో అతడికి పిల్లను ఇవ్వడానికి అమ్మాయి తల్లిదండ్రులు ఎవరూ ముందుకు రారు. పెళ్లి సంబంధాలు చూడటంలో హాఫ్ సెంచరీ కంప్లీట్ చేస్తాడు. ఆ తర్వాత మ్యాట్రిమోనీ సైట్ ద్వారా పరిచయమైన సిద్ధి (ఫరియా అబ్దుల్లా)తో ప్రేమలో పడతాడు. అయితే… ‘నేను మీకు కరెక్ట్ కాదు’ అని చెప్పి సున్నితంగా తిరస్కరిస్తుంది ఆ అమ్మాయి. కానీ, ఇద్దరూ స్నేహితులుగా మెలుగుతారు.

అల్లరి నరేష్‌.. ఆ ఒక్కటీ అడక్కు… క్లాసిక్ టైటిల్ తీసుకోవడం సాహసం అనే చెప్పాలి. దీంతో పాటు.. ఈ సినిమా అవుట్ అండ్ అవుట్ కామెడీ ఎంటర్‌టైనర్ అని చెప్పడంతో అంచనాలు ఏర్పడ్డాయి. ప్రామిసింగ్ ట్రైలర్, పెళ్లి కాని యువకుల కష్టాలు అనే కాన్సెప్ట్ క్యూరియాసిటీ క్రియేట్ చేశాయి. కానీ ఈ మూవీ అవుట్ అండ్ అవుట్ కామెడీ ఎంటర్‌టైనర్ అయితే కాదు. ఆ టైటిల్ తీసుకుని కామెడీ కోటింగ్ ఇస్తూ సీరియస్ సినిమా తీశారు. ప్రస్తుతం చాలా మంది యువతీ యువకులు ఫేస్ చేసే ప్రాబ్లమ్… సరైన పెళ్లి సంబంధం కోసం మ్యాట్రిమోనీ సైట్లను ఆశ్రయించడం! పెళ్లైన అమ్మాయిల నంబర్లను మ్యాట్రిమోనీ సైట్లు అబ్బాయిలకు ఇవ్వడం, మ్యాట్రిమోనీ సైట్లలో యువతీ యువకులకు ఎలాంటి పరిస్థితులు ఎదురు అవుతున్నాయనేది చూపించారు. అయితే… కామెడీ ఒక్కటి తగ్గింది.

పెళ్లి కాని యువకుడిగా అల్లరి నరేష్ ఇంట్రో, మరదలిగా జెమీ లివర్ సన్నివేశాలు సరదా సరదాగా ముందుకు వెళతాయి. డైనింగ్ టేబుల్ దగ్గర వెన్నెల కిశోర్ సీన్ హిలేరియస్‌గా నవ్విస్తుంది. అయితే… ఆ తర్వాత కథలో కామెడీ తగ్గింది. సీరియస్ ఇష్యూ డిస్కషన్ ఎక్కువైంది. అదంతా సాగదీసిన ఫీలింగ్ కలుగుతుంది. ఒక స్టేజికి వచ్చాక ఒక్క జోక్ కూడా పేలలేదు.

ఇంటర్వెల్ తర్వాత అయితే నవ్వుకున్న సందర్భాలు వేళ్ళ మీద లెక్క పెట్టవచ్చు. తమ్ముడికి ముందు పెళ్లి చేసి తాను ఎందుకు చేసుకోలేదు? అని హీరోయిన్ వేసిన ప్రశ్నకు చూపించిన అల్లరి నరేష్ ఫ్లాష్ బ్యాక్ ఆకట్టుకోలేదు. ఎన్నారై పెళ్లి కొడుకుల మోసాలు, మనం తరచూ వార్తల్లో చూసే విషయాలు తప్ప కొత్తగా ఏమీ లేదు. ఫేక్ పెళ్లి కూతురు కాన్సెప్ట్ కొత్తది. కానీ, దాని చుట్టూ కామెడీ జనరేట్ చేయడంలో ‘ఆ ఒక్కటీ అడక్కు’ టీమ్ ఫెయిల్ అయ్యింది.

పాటలు పెద్దగా ఆకట్టుకోలేదు. నేపథ్య సంగీతం సోసోగా ఉంది. సాధారణ సీన్లు తీయడానికి గ్రీన్ మ్యాట్ ఎందుకు వాడారో అర్థం కాలేదు. ఆ డిఫరెన్స్ స్క్రీన్ మీద తెలుస్తుంది. అయితే… ప్రొడక్షన్ విషయంలో నిర్మాణ విలువలు బాగున్నాయి.

Vennela Kishore and others deliver their typical comedic acts, yet fail to elevate the overall experience.
