Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Review

After giving us slice-of-life drama Pellichoopulu, Tharun Bhascker is back with comedy film Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, revolving around four friends. Has the film potential to set the cash registers ringing, will the film be able to give Tharun second success film. Let us see how the movie fares.

Story:

The film is about four friends who juggle with their lives trying to find a motto and establish themselves.   Karthik (Sushanth Reddy) aspires to have societal status and believes in getting things readymade rather than making ane effort. For instance, why fall for love and waste time, when your boss is ready to marry off his daughter to him. Kaushik (Abhinav Gomatam) who lends voice for animated films is looked down upon by his father and brother. Then comes wedding photographer Upendra  (Venkatesh Kakumanu) who loves his drinks and a laid back guy. But it is Vivek (Vishwak Sen) who leads the pack and gives them the driving force.

All the friends have their own heart-breaking experiences in the past, but leaving the memories behind they come to Goa to make a short film.

Analysis:

The film  Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi belongs to Tharun Bhascker. Unlike other potboilers or cliches films, Tharun has always disassociated himself from routine fair. Just like his first film Pellichoopuly, even in this film, he comes up with slice-of-life tales which definitely empathises you. Composer Vivek Sagar’s music renders a soulful music that drives the film. A buddy film that has so much from comedy to dramatic that will leave you be with you after you walk out of the theatre. Coming back to the technical aspects, Tahrunhass indulged in slow motion shots which is an add-on to the film.
