Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made strong comments against former CM K Chandrashekar Rao. He said it took him one year to fix the damage caused by KCR’s ten years of rule. Revanth rejected the claims made during the BRS party’s public meeting in Warangal. He reminded that the BRS government earlier did not even provide buses for Rahul Gandhi’s meeting in Khammam.

Revanth Reddy said KCR is the main reason for the problems in Telangana. Fixing the damage done over ten years was a major task. He added that he does not need to prove his good relationship with Rahul Gandhi. He made it clear that schemes now running in Telangana are not available in any other state.

The Chief Minister also sent a strong message to party leaders. He pointed out that he supported Dayakar in getting an MLC seat. He warned leaders who speak against the party outside. Revanth said those loyal to him will get his full support for positions and posts.

He criticized KCR for providing unlimited buses for his meetings but refusing them for Congress events. Revanth said KCR’s defeat started from the second day after he became CM. He accused KCR of looting the state’s treasury during his rule.

Revanth praised Indira Gandhi, calling her the greatest warrior the world had seen. He said only Indira Gandhi defeated a country in history. He accused KCR and Modi of speaking only for their personal needs. He stressed that his relationship with Rahul Gandhi remains strong. He mentioned that no other state has implemented the schemes that the Congress government launched in Telangana.

He said in the final six months before the elections, the public will judge his government’s performance. Revanth also spoke about the Kagar issue happening at Karregutta. He said it needs a national level discussion and that the government will announce a policy after the party takes a decision.

Revanth accused KCR of calling young MLAs “kids” while sending them to the Assembly. He explained that they started bringing new schemes in the last one and a half years and are now streamlining them.

Revanth said he plans to stay in politics for another 20 years. He promised to act according to the law. He admitted some officers continued in their posts because of lack of better options.

BRS Name Change:

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ విభజన సమయం నుంచి తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు బీఆర్ఎస్ (అప్పటి టిఆర్ఎస్) పార్టీకే మద్దతుగా ఉన్నారు. సపరేట్ తెలంగాణ వచ్చాక ప్రజలు టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీకి బ్రహ్మరథం పట్టారు. వరుసగా రెండుసార్లు ఎన్నికల్లో భారీ విజయాన్ని టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ తెలంగాణలో రూలింగ్ పార్టీగా ఉండేది కానీ ఇప్పుడు పరిస్థితులు మారాయి.

గతేడాది టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీకి ఎన్నికల తో భారీ షాక్ ఎదురయింది. రూలింగ్ పార్టీ కాస్త ఇప్పుడు ప్రతిపక్షం పార్టీ అయిపోయింది. కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ విజయాన్ని సాధించి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా మారారు. అయితే వరుసగా రెండుసార్లు ఎన్నికల్లో గెలిచిన టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ ఎందుకు ఈసారి ఓడిపోయింది అనే విషయాలపై చాలా కాలంగా చర్చ జరుగుతూనే ఉంది.

దీంతో జాతీయ రాజకీయాలు పక్కన పెట్టి తెలంగాణలో అయినా పార్టీని బతికించడానికి మళ్లీ పేరు మారిస్తే బెటర్ అని చాలామంది అభ్యర్థులు కోరుతున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలోనే ఒక సమావేశంలో హరీష్ రావు కూడా టిఆర్ఎస్ కండువా కప్పుకొని వచ్చి పార్టీ పేరు మార్చాలని బలంగా కోరారు.

మాజీ మంత్రి శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ కూడా బీఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీ అని పిలుస్తామని చెబుతున్నారు. పార్టీ పేరుని మార్చడంలో ప్రధాన పాత్ర పోషించానని, అందుకే పార్టీ ఓటమిలో తనకి కూడా భాగం ఉంది అంటూ మాజీ ఎంపీ వినోద్ కుమార్ కూడా కామెంట్లు చేస్తున్నారు.

Jagan and KCR’s battle:

K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy joined forces in 2019 united by a common adversary, Chandrababu Naidu.
