May Roundup: How Tollywood Movies Performed in May 2025

The month of May 2025 is coming to an end, and it is a good time to review how Tollywood movies performed during these 30 days. Several films were released, but overall, the results were mixed.

The month began with the release of two major films: HIT 3 starring Nani and Retro featuring Suriya. HIT 3 was an action thriller that received a moderate response from the audience. It worked fairly well and managed to do good business at the box office. On the other hand, Retro was not successful and failed to attract many viewers from the very first day.

In addition, Samantha’s film Shubham came out with her in a cameo role, but it passed unnoticed without much attention. Sree Vishnu’s Single aimed to entertain the younger crowd with its comedy style and slapstick humor, and it had decent success because of this.

Hollywood films also made an impact this month. Mission Impossible and Final Destination: Bloodlines both released in India and found their audience. Particularly, Final Destination was appreciated and considered a satisfactory watch by fans.
