Balireddy Prudhviraj a comedian in Telugu Cinema, now played a negative character for YSRP in real life and got paid heavily. He abused Amaravathi farmers as paid artists to impress his boss in support of 3 capitals and hit by Karma Siddhanta (“you reap what you sow”). 30 years industry Prudhvi collapsed with a 3-minute video.

He worked as chairman of the SVBC channel which is run by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam till Jan 12, 2020. On January 11, 2020, an obscene illicit conversation between Prudhviraj and his female employee working in SVBC was found out and broadcast by the channel 99TV and subsequently, he found guilty and resigned to his SVBC chairman post.

Prithviraj hails from a (respected?) farmer family in Tadepalligudem. Prithviraj completed his master’s degree in Economics from Andhra University. Since childhood, he participated in many stage shows and cultural activities.

Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan had bought 99TV and his friend Thota Chandrasekhar of Aditya Group of Industries invested in the channel, that brings out exclusive coverage on Jane Sena activities and the campaigning done by Pawan Kalyan. But now reports have emerged that Pawan would be backing off from 99 TV. Our sources have informed that Thota Chandrasekhar is finding it tough to fund the capital and he is unlikely to push it further without any investments from outsiders. Keeping this in the milieu, Pawn might be calling it quit from 99 TV.

Earlier, we reported that Pawan Kalyan initiated the move to buy the news channel after few certain sections of channels aired comments against him put him in a bad light. With elections around the corner, the Jana Sena Chief contemplated of having their own channel to fire back at the rumours trained at him by other channels spreading negative publicity against him.

The 99TV new channel is owned by the Communist party. And soon after they came up to sell out their channel, Jana Sena came forward to buyout. On the other side, it is being said that businessman, Nimmagadda Prasad, is in talks to buy 10TV, which also owned by Communist Party.

TV9 Sold For Rs 500 Crore?

TV9 founder Chintalapati Srinivasa Raju alias Srini Raju has reportedly sold the news channel and its sister franchise for a whopping Rs 500 crores. The deal, apparently, took place with Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited and My Home Group, which is led by P V Krishna Reddy and Dr Jupally Rameswar Rao respectively. However, the major chunk would go to Megha Enterprise. According to repost this is talk going on but an official confirmation is awaited.

Meanwhile, TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash and Srini Raju reportedly will transfer their stakes to Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the smooth process to the buyers.

The reason for selling Associated Broadcasting Company Private Limited (ABCL) which operates seven franchises of TV9 is due to the negative feedback being generated among the public. Moreover, it also lends support to TDP and was called of promoting yellow media by Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan.

“Of late, TV9 has become more controversial. That will impact other businesses. Either one has to leverage it or get out of it. It has lost its purpose. Management will be blamed even if a single member of editorial team misuses freedom given,” a close aide of Srini Raju said.

It may be recalled that previously 10TV and 99TV were bought out.
