The sci-fi film 2.0 starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson continue to wreak havoc at the box-office. The film on day one raked in Rs 100 croroe at the worldwide box-office. Despite being a non-holiday day, 2.0 on day two also fared well. The Hindi 2.0 minted Rs 19 crore on the second day while, in Chennai, it doubled from previous day raking in Rs 4.77 crore.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala posted, “#2Point0 in Hindi was holding well yesterday – Day 2 (Friday).. Early Estimates for All-India Day 2 Nett is around ₹ 19 Crs.. Day 1 was ₹ 20.25 Crs..”
On the other side, 2.0 roars at the overseas market as it broke the lifetime business record of Lingaa in just two days. In Pakistan, the screen cunt increased from 20 to 75. “At the #USA Box Office, #2Point0 with $1,531,755 has crossed #Lingaa ‘s Lifetime Gross of $1,525,318 to become #Thalaivar 4th Highest Grosser there,” posted Ramesh.
