Amala bags interesting project

After divorcing her husband Vijay, dusky siren Amala Paul is now focussing on her film career. Currently, she is working in Dhanush-Vetrimaran’s much-anticipated flick Vada Chennai. She is also playing the female lead in the Kannada remake of Tamil hit VIP. Latest reports suggest that she has now bagged yet another interesting project.

Amala has been roped in as the lead heroine in the sequel of 2006 sleeper hit Thiruttu Payale. This film will also be directed by Susi Ganeshan who had directed the prequel. National award winner Bobby Simha will be the lead role and Prasanna will play the antagonist role in this film. It is being said that this film will also be a thriller flick just like the first part. More details regarding this movie will be announced soon.
