The Amaravati protests turned murkier after a woman journalist was attacked while covering the protest of BJP State President of AP Kanna Lakshmi Narayana. Reportedly, the attacked was done by unknown miscreants at Uddandarayunipalem.
Apart from physical injury, it is also reported the assailants resorted to verbal abuse as well. Reportedly the attackers have also pelted stones on the journalists forcing them to flee from the scene. The incident has been condemned by journalist unions. They said that they visited this region many times but nothing happened like this before. The opinion that in the disguise of farmers miscreants have done this attack.
