The hashtag #RIPActorVIJAY was trending on Twitter and was the top trend of the Chennai Twitter. The tag was about actor Thalapthy Vijay’s hoax death leaving his fans tensed and worried about what happened. But the fans got relieved realising that was a bad prank which broke out owing to fan wars.
The ugly trend didn’t go down well with cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin who slammed the current generation for not concentrating on bigger issues rather getting involved in such meanest things. “There was an asteroid that missed hitting our planet a few days ago, irregular monsoons hitting different cities, droughts in many parts of our country and very disturbing criminal cases being spoken, but the young generation of our lovey state manage to trend this #RIPactorVIJAY,” Ashwin tweeted.
