Once again, there seems to be a case of carelessness with the movie Bholaa Shankar, starring Chiranjeevi. Despite its recent theatrical release, the film faced a quick box office failure within just 2 days, marking a low point in Chiranjeevi’s career.
While the Telugu version’s performance was disappointing, the Hindi version is still slated for release. However, the Hindi presenters appear to be exhibiting the same lack of attention as the Telugu producers. With a scheduled release date of August 25th, there has been no opening of bookings for theatres in the North states, and no new promotional material has been released either.
This lack of action could spell trouble for the presenters. Without opening ticket bookings, grabbing attention and achieving any collection seems improbable.
Adding to the challenge, none associated with the Telugu version are stepping up to promote the film. The upcoming release in North Indian theatres will be a test of how the audience there responds to the film under these circumstances.
