BJP Workers Pull Down Lenin’s Statue in Tripura

Lenins Statue in TripuraThe Iconic communist revolutionary leader Lenin statue, which was situated at the center of the Belonia town of Tripura, was destroyed by the BJP workers.

On Monday, 48 hours after BJP wining the Assembly elections by dethroning the 25-year-old Communist party rule in the state.

The BJP Workers and supporters who were celebrating the victory of the party allegedly drought the Lenin status down by the help of a JCB amid cries of “Bharat Mata ki Jai”.

Soon Police authorities swing in to the action and removed the statue and gave to municipality for storage. The JCB driver was arrested and let off on bail later.

Tripura’s voters cast their votes on February 18, setting new record of voting percentage in the electoral history of India.
