In a heartbreaking turn of events, Suhani Bhatnagar, renowned for her portrayal of young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan’s 2016 film “Dangal,” has passed away at the tender age of 19.

The circumstances surrounding her demise remain unclear, and her final rites are scheduled to take place at the Ajronda crematorium in Sector 15, Faridabad.

According to media reports, she had been admitted to the hospital due to a reaction caused by medication. Suhani had been undergoing treatment for fluid accumulation in her body in recent times. She resided in Sector 17, Faridabad, and her sudden departure has left many in shock.

Suhani Bhatnagar, who had gained recognition for her role in “Dangal,” breathed her last on a Saturday morning. Despite her relatively young age, she had decided to take a hiatus from acting after the success of the film, focusing on her studies instead.

The 2016 biographical sports drama “Dangal,” directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Aamir Khan, depicted the inspiring journey of Mahavir Singh Phogat, an amateur wrestler, training his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to become India’s first world-class female wrestlers. Suhani Bhatnagar played the role of the younger Babita Phogat in the film, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

In her last Instagram post from November 2021, Suhani shared sun-kissed selfies with the caption, “November??” Her departure is a somber moment for the industry, as fans remember her for the significant contribution she made in her brief but impactful acting career.
