Varasudu is Dil Raju’s maiden Tamil film that was also released as a Pongal special in Telugu. The day one collection was good as the film made fives crores in Telugu states.
Dil Raju released the film on his own in Telugu but sadly, the film’s collections have fallen down badly. Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy are doing great and Varasudu being a dubbed and routine family drama has slowed down.
The film might also see some losses in the days to come in Telugu. For now, it is holding its fort thanks to the holiday season. Only time will tell how the film will fare once the weekdays start. Vamsi Paidipally directed this film starring Vijay and Rashmika.
