The two remakes are of Vedhalam and Lucifer, a Malayam drama. So, in the days to come, Chiru will launch the Vedhalam remake which will be directed by Meher Ramesh who has a lot to prove after giving back to back flops. The update from the mega camp is that the Vedhalam remake will have Kolkatta as the backdrop and most of the story will be set these.
