One of the much-awaited movies of next year, 2.0 finally got the release date. The film will release on Diwali next year. The first look of the film was released a few minutes back by the team at a special event held at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai.
All the cast and crew including Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Shankar, AR Rahaman and Amy Jackson were present at the event. 2.0 is being shot entirely in 3D format. Sound designer Resul Pookutty said that he is creating a new sound design for this film. Music director AR Rahman said that this film is the toughest one in his career. The event was also graced by other heroes like Arya and Vijay Anthony. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar hosted this launch event.
