Leggy lass Deepika Padukone is all set to don a new hat of a producer. A leading daily stated that the actress has plans to set up her own production house and wants to be associated with content-driven films. “Deepika is focusing on setting up her own production house. She wants to be associated with interesting and content-driven films. She will soon be donning the producers’ hat,” a source told the daily.
Well, if things fall into place, then after Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Deepika would be another star with her own production house. Meanwhile, what appeals in scripts before finalising, she said, “I can’t tell you how many people have said, “Can you do another Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani?” But people aren’t making that many love stories anymore. Everyone is making sports biopics. I want to do something fun and light – that’s my brief! And that hasn’t come as yet.”
