After scoring a blockbuster with Asuran, Dhanush is now prepping up for the release of his next film Pattas. Directed by Durai Senthilkumar, Pattas will hit the screens on the 16th of December. Meanwhile, we are also aware that the VIP actor is working on another film under the direction of Karthik Subbaraj.
The first schedule of this film got filmed in London till last month. The makers have shot a lengthy schedule there. Now, Karthik Subbaraj is filming the flashback portions of Dhanush in Madurai and its surrounding areas. We hear that Dhanush sports the same look in this flashback, as Rajinikanth’s one in the flashback episode of Petta. According to the sources, Dhanush will romance two heroines in this movie. One of them is Aishwarya Lekshmi, who shot her portions in London. Now, for the flashback episode, Karthik has roped in Sanchana Natarajan as the female lead. Sanchana is best known for her role in Vijay Deverakonda’s NOTA. We also heard that the actress has already started shooting for this film.
This untitled project is being bankrolled by Sasikanth under Y Not Studios. Hollywood actor James Cosmo played an important role in it. The makers are planning to release the film in the first half of 2020.
