While celebrating the decent box office figures of both movies, a report from Bollywood Hungama suggested that Akshay Kumar offered to help Sunny Deol repay his Rs 56 crore loan. Apparently, a notice for an e-auction of Sunny Deol’s Juhu home was issued by the bank for loan repayment.
As per the report, part of the arrangement involves Sunny Deol repaying the loan to Akshay Kumar within a specific timeframe. Akshay Kumar reportedly extended an offer of approximately ₹30-40 crores to assist Sunny Deol. However, Akshay Kumar’s spokesperson dismissed these claims as ‘completely untrue’ to a media outlet.
In a recent update, Bank of Baroda withdrew the 30-day notice due to a technical error. This notice was issued under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act, as reported by the outlet.
