Don’t vote for YCP to avoid endorsing murderers: Sunitha

YS Sunitha Narreddy, daughter of the late YS Vivekananda Reddy, recently addressed the media in Delhi, shedding light on her father’s murder case.

Expressing gratitude to those supporting her legal journey, she revealed her belief that individuals within their own family orchestrated her father’s murder. Despite the typical swift resolution of murder cases, she lamented the prolonged investigation into her father’s death, spanning several years.

“I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me during my legal journey in the past few years. I’ve reached a sad conclusion that some members of our own family were involved in working against my father. Normally, murder cases are resolved within 4-5 days, but in my father’s case, the investigation has been ongoing for years,” stated Sunitha.

Accusing their family members of betrayal and oppression, Sunitha appealed for an expedited inquiry and sought the backing of the Andhra Pradesh public. Urging citizens not to endorse alleged wrongdoers, she specifically called for a rejection of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) in the upcoming elections to uphold a robust democracy.

Sunitha criticized the protection afforded to the accused, YS Avinash Reddy and Bhaskar Reddy, questioning the sluggish progress of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the undisclosed pressures impeding it. Highlighting the importance of a fair trial, she maintained that the guilty should face consequences while urging for the exoneration of the innocent.

Raising doubts about the CBI’s actions, especially the decision not to arrest Avinash in Kurnool, Sunitha questioned the unprecedented nature of such a situation. Alleging her brother Jagan’s involvement in shielding the accused, she highlighted a perceived rise in political murders under the YSRCP government and appealed to the public to reconsider their support in the upcoming elections.
