Rana Daggubati had a fabulous 2015 with the grand success of magnum opus Baahubali. In 2016, he was seen in the Tamil remake of Bangalore Days, which faired averagely at the box-office. Other than that, he didn’t have any notable releases. But 2017 is going to be a big year for him as three of his much prestigious projects are hitting the screens. One is Baahubali 2, other one is submarine war drama Ghazi and the last one is political thriller Nene Raju Nene Mantri.
Directed by Teja, Nene Raju Nene Mantri is touted to be a politics based film, just like leader. This film has two heroines in tn the lead roles. Kajal and Catherine are the heroines who filled those slots. The first schedule of the film was shot at Kairakudi in Tamil Nadu and the second schedule was started today in Ananthapur. Rana shared a pic from the shoot location and tweeted that this is the first day shoot of the film in 2017.
