Game Changer or date changer? Same old story continues for Ram Charan and Dil Raju
The highly anticipated film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, is encountering delays, similar to what happened with the movie Evadu, another collaboration between producer Dil Raju and Ram Charan. The film, which features a stellar cast including Kiara Advani, Anjali, S.J. Surya, and Sunil, was initially slated for a December 20 release. However, with other major films like Pushpa and Mufasa scheduled for the same period, it is now expected to be delayed.
This is not the first time Ram Charan and Dil Raju have faced such challenges. Their earlier film, Evadu, also experienced budget escalations and release delays. Game Changer seems to be following a similar pattern, with rising production costs leading to a likely postponement. In the case of Evadu, the release was delayed by six months, eventually premiering during Sankranti. Now, there is talk of Game Changer being shifted to a Sankranti release as well.
Despite these setbacks, Evadu managed to become a box-office success, and fans hope Game Changer will achieve similar results. Both films highlight the unpredictable nature of large-scale productions, but given the talent involved, there is still optimism that Game Changer will live up to its name.
