Since the last few months, it was reported that legendary badminton player Pullela Gopichand’s biopic will be made in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. Actor Sudheer Babu declared that he is playing the lead role and Praveen Sattaru will helm the project. The shoot was supposed to start a by now but currently, it is put on hold.
The reason being that Gopichand didn’t like few changes that were made in the script. After PV Sindhu won the silver medal at Rio Olympics, makers changed the script which ends the movie right after Sindhu wins the medal. Apparently, Gopi thought that it would shift the focus on Sindhu and he didn’t sign the No Objection Certificate. It seems that makers are now changing the script as Gopi’s requirements.
