Victory Venkatesh has remade many films in the past and most of them turned out to be successful. Now, he is coming up with yet another remake film called Guru. Guru is the official remake of Madhavan’s Tamil-Hindi boxing drama Saala Khaddoos. Sudha Kongara, who directed the original, is helming this project too.
Makers are planning to release this film on January 26, 2017, on the occasion of Republic Day. Already, the shoot is going on at a rapid pace. The music composed by Santhosh Narayan will be released in December along with the theatrical trailer. Ritika Singh will reprise her role of an aspiring boxer in this film also.
