The announcement of the new release date for Salaar has prompted many movie producers to adjust their previously fixed release dates. Some movies are rescheduling, while others are considering Sankranti for their release.
For Sankranti, there is already a list of movies in the race, including Guntur Kaaram, Naa Saami Ranga, Eagle, and more. Recently, a couple of producers reportedly approached the makers of Hanu-Man to request a change in their release date from Sankranti to Republic Day.
It’s worth noting that the Hanu-Man makers declined this request, stating that they had locked in their date many months ago. Just this morning, director Prashanth Varma confirmed that they will stick to the same release date with no plans to postpone.
With limited options left, other movie producers are now considering postponing their releases from December to a different month. Hanu-Man stars Teja Sajja as the male lead and Amritha Aiyer as the leading lady.
