Shankar’s big-ticket film 2.0 is gearing for mammoth release on November 29. The film’s first part Ethiran had Aishwarya Rai as the lead actress. While many assumed Aish would be part of the sequel but sensuous actress Amy Jackson replaced Aishwarya. And now, Shankar has revealed for the first time why former Miss World is not part of 2.0.

Shankar said that 2.0 has a different character and dimension hence it required Amy to portray. However, he underlined the fact that Aish’s character will be mentioned in 2.0. Well, that makes some interesting revealtion. Isn’t it foks?
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar who plays nemesis in 2.0 has and has teamed up with Rajinikanth and Shankar for the first time had said, “Rajini sir is the real superstar. I would like to thank Shankar sir for giving me the opportunity of working with a legend like Rajinikanth. I could’ve never imagined that I will get a chance to work in such a big and costly film like 2.0.”
