Talk of action movies, director and actors leave no stone unturned to make it perfect. And one such case was of Anil Kapoor. Would you believe if we say the Anil got slapped for 17 times? Yes, it is true and it was Jackie Shroff, who slapped him 17 times for a 1989 film Parinda.
This interesting tidbit was shared by Jackie Shroff himself on the show BFFs with Vogue, hosted by Neha Dhupia. He says that it was Anil who asked for retakes to make it perfect, adding that he didn’t slap him hard. “I gave him 17 slaps but didn’t give it so hard that he would fall,” said Jackie.
The duo has teamed up for hit films Ram Lakhan and 1942: A Love Story.
