Honeymoon is the latest Telugu web series streaming on the Aha platform. With six episodes, the series released today. Nagabhushana, Sanjana Anand, Pawan Kumar, and others played the lead roles.
Plot:
Praveen (Nagabhushana) and Tejaswini (Sanjana) are a newly married couple. The series ‘Honeymoon’ is all about the couple’s journey during an unexpected Honeymoon trip to Kerala, right after the wedding. Praveen’s friends plan this trip, which involves a lot of twists and turns.
Actors & Performances:
Nagabhushana and Sanjana Anand played the couple in the film. They look like the real pair in the series. While Nagabhushana is innocent, Sanjana is quirky. Both make a perfect couple. Together, the pair is lovely and did a fantastic job with their performance. It is their performances that hold the series and is also a major plus point for the series. Nagabhushana did his role very well, without going overboard and without over-reacting in some scenes. His character is pleasant. Sanjana is equally good. Her expressions are cute. The other actors in the series put on a good show and impressed one and all.
Analysis:
Honeymoon series is directed by Sakkath Studios creative team. The story is straightforward, but the execution made a lot of difference. Certainly, the show is not refreshing, but the best part is that it does not offer boredom. The runtime of each episode is very less, and it convinces us to binge-watch it. Each episode ended well without disturbing the flow of the story. The series tells the marriage story of a reserved guy and a modern woman in the funniest yet beautiful manner.
Many newly married couples could easily connect to the series. The characters drive the series, and the writing team took enough care in making the lead pair look authentic and convincing. The supporting cast also does a good job of generating fun. If the creators cast some noted faces to play the lead pair in the series, it would have been more impressive. Whatsoever, the lead pair did a good job, and the chemistry between them is lively.
Although the series was titled Honeymoon, the creators made sure the series has healthy humor and subtle romance, which never gets overboard. On the whole, the Honeymoon series is predictable but keeps us engaged.
