“I moved to Mumbai with our son,” Namrata on breakup with Mahesh Babu

Every relationship has its share of struggles, and Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s marriage is no exception. In a recent interview, Namrata shared how she and Mahesh went through a tough phase, leading to a temporary separation. Her revelation surprised many fans.

Namrata explained that their differences led to a short-term breakup. “We had our share of struggles and decided to part ways for a while,” she said. However, she clarified that the separation was never meant to be permanent. “Unlike others, our time apart was temporary. We reunited after some time,” she added.

During that period both faced personal and professional challenges. Mahesh was struggling with his career while Namrata was dealing with emotional distress. “I lost my parents and that was a difficult phase for me. I decided to move to Mumbai with our son, Gautham,” she shared.

Despite being apart, the couple never lost their emotional connection. Namrata revealed that the separation made them realize the strength of their relationship. “Staying apart helped us understand how much we meant to each other. When we reunited, we made sure to never let anything come between us again,” she explained. Their bond became even stronger after the birth of their daughter Sitara.

Namrata also spoke about giving up her acting career after marriage. “Mahesh never asked me to quit working. Even before marriage, he never imposed any conditions on me,” she said. She clarified that stepping away from films was entirely her decision. “I was never obsessed with being a top actress. So leaving my career didn’t feel like a loss,” she added.

Another challenge in their relationship was the age gap. “Being older than Mahesh did create some issues, but we worked through them and built a strong family,” she shared.
