Touted to be the sequel of 1996 released blockbuster movie, ‘Bharateeyudu’, Shankar’s upcoming movie, ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ is grabbing the attention of all South audience. Kamal Haasan is playing the lead role and the shooting of the movie is going on with swift pace. The shooting is taking place in Chennai city. It is known that the first part dealt with corruption.
Now, it seems like Shankar is going to give a strong message against the crimes happening against women in India in ‘Bharateeyudu 2’. The makers have already roped in star heroines like Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Priya Bhavani Shankar for the film. Siddharth is playing the role of Kamal Haasan’s grandson in the movie whereas Vidyut Jamwal will be seen as the antagonist. Lyca Productions is bankrolling this high budget project and the film is slated to hit the screens in April 2020.
