Jawan, written and directed by Atlee, features an ensemble cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Riddhi Dogra in pivotal roles. Adding to the excitement, Deepika Padukone is set to make a special appearance in the movie. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 7, 2023.
News is, Red Chillies Entertainment has alleged in the FIR that the Jawan clips were shared online, thereby infringing upon copyright laws. The production house further asserted that these leaked clips unveiled the appearance of the actors in the film, as well as snippets of the music – both of which are traditionally disclosed at specific points as part of the meticulously crafted marketing strategy for the movie.
This is not the first occurrence of Jawan clips leaking online. In April of this year, the Delhi High Court directed various online platforms, including social media, shady websites, cable TV outlets, direct-to-home services, and other mediums, to expunge the leaked videos of Jawan and cease their circulation.
Even during the filming of Jawan, Red Chillies Entertainment proactively banned mobile phones and recording devices on the sets. This measure was taken to forestall any inadvertent leaks and maintain the confidentiality of the production.
