Shah Rukh Khan’s action-packed drama Jawan has now outperformed KGF 2 in Hindi collections, amassing a remarkable total of 444 crores nett as of the latest reports. On its second Monday, the film pulled in an impressive 14.25 crores nett from its Hindi version, benefiting from the Ganesh Chaturthi festival holiday observed in certain parts of South India.
Jawan has ambitious goals ahead, aiming to surpass the collections of Baahubali 2 (Hindi nett – 511 crores), Gadar 2 (still running at 520 crores nett), and Pathaan (524 crores nett). With Tuesday being a holiday in certain parts of North India, Jawan is expected to continue its strong box-office performance.
In addition to its Hindi version, the Telugu and Tamil versions of Jawan have contributed 51 crores nett to the overall domestic earnings. This signifies that Jawan is on the cusp of crossing the 500 crore nett milestone today, encompassing all versions.
When looking at its global collections, Jawan has amassed an astounding 883.68 crores in gross revenue. The film is well on its way to breach the 900-crore mark today, and there’s a high likelihood that Jawan will become Shah Rukh Khan’s second film to join the exclusive 1000-crore club in worldwide earnings.
