Jr NTR’s long-time body double reveals why he rejected War 2
Jr NTR is known for his powerful performances and action-packed films. But behind many of his intense stunts is a man named Eshwar Harris. He has been Jr NTR’s body double for years, helping bring action scenes to life in some of the actor’s biggest movies.
Before stepping into films, Eshwar had a completely different life. He studied Chartered Accountancy (CA) and even secured a job in the IT industry. But his heart was always in films and acting. Along with his studies, he trained in martial arts, gymnastics, dance, and calisthenics. He also regularly worked out at the gym, preparing himself physically for his dream career.
During his college years, Eshwar began taking part in photoshoots and short films. Later, he joined theater, where he gained experience and made connections in the film industry. Eventually, he started working in Telugu movies as a supporting actor and stunt performer.
Eshwar’s big break came when he started working as Jr NTR’s body double. Thanks to his similar facial features and body structure, he was a perfect match for the star. One of his most notable contributions was in SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster RRR, where he performed several of the film’s toughest action scenes.
In addition to RRR, Eshwar also worked in Pushpa: The Rise, starring Allu Arjun. He has built good relationships with big directors like Sukumar and has become a known name in the Telugu film industry for his dedication and skill.
Recently, Eshwar made news when he revealed that he was approached to be Jr NTR’s body double for War 2. However, he turned down the offer due to a disagreement over payment.
