Kajal Aggarwal steps down! Yes, the Sita actress has stepped down from the role of a producer. Initially, Kajal was all hullabaloo about backing Prasanth Varma of Awe fame as a producer. But the actress due to her jammed packed schedules has now left bankrolling the project, but Kajal continues to play the as the heroine for the women-centric film.
A source says, “Just when things seemed to be going well, Kajal decided to step down as the producer of the film. She has her hands full at this point of time and backed out of the project in the capacity of the producer.”
“She loved Prasanth Varma’s script and wants to be a part of an experimental cinema,” adds the source. On the work front, Kajal willbe seen in Ranarangam starring Sharwanand and Kalyani Priydarshan. The makers recently released ‘Pilla Picture Perfect’ song.
Sunny MR has composed music for the song while Krishna Chaitanya has penned the lyrics.
Written and directed by Sudheer Varma, ‘Ranarangam’ is a gangster backdrop movie. The teaser and two songs released so far got a good response. Sithara Entertainments banner is producing the movie and the release date is on August 15th.
