Actor Kamal Haasan, who was last seen in Thug Life, is currently busy with his political career. He was recently elected unoposed to the Rajya Sabha from Tamil Nadu. Kamal is the President of Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) party, and he secured his seat in alliance with the ruling DMK.
On Saturday, Kamal Haasan held a party meeting in Chennai, where many fans came to meet him and show their support. Some even clicked photos with him. During this event, a fan tried to gift Kamal a sword. This made Kamal very angry.

He was upset by the gift and asked the fan to take back the sword. However, the fan insisted and kept offering it. Kamal then scolded him, and other people had to step in and move the fan aside. The video of this incident soon went viral on social media, and many people started talking about it.
Some say Kamal was worried about the message that a sword might send, while others think he was worried for his own safety. Whatever the case, Kamal made it clear that he did not appreciate this kind of gift.
Earlier on Thursday, Kamal Haasan, along with other DMK and AIADMK candidates, was elected unoposed to the Rajya Sabha from Tamil Nadu. His alliance with DMK made it possible for him to win a seat in Parliament.
