Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s sister Leelamma passed away today (August 6). The deceased, who was suffering from ailments from last few months, breathed her last at Yashodha Hospital, Secunderabad. KCR who caught wind of the news has cancelled his Delhi trip and is scheduled to arrive Hyderabad today by the afternoon flight.

Leelamma is survived by her husband Shankar Rao and two sons – Kantha Rao and Madhusudhan Rao. The deceased hails from Yellareddipet Mandal in Rajanna Sircilla district. Notably, KCR’s another sister Vimala Devi passed away in February, this year.
