Plot

Krishna( Rishvi Timmaraju) is the only son of a widowed mother. His only dream is to build his own house for his mom. He is in love with Satya(Vismaya Sri) and things take a new turn when a villain named Daya sets eyes on Satya. In such a tense situation, how will build his house and win the love of Satya is the basic storyline of the film.

Performances

Rishvi Timmaraju is making his debut with this film and he is just about okay. He needed a lot of grooming and struggles in a few scenes. Also, he overacts in the action episodes. But the way he handled romantic scenes was good. Vismaya was cute in her role and is the only solace of the film. The rest of the cast is pretty ordinary.

What’s Good

A few romantic scenes
Heroine’s performance

What’s Bad

Routine storyline
Boring execution
Slow pace

Analysis

Krishna Gadu Ante Oka Range is about a young man whose dream is to build a house for his single mother. How he gets struck in a maze when he falls in love with a girl is the basic story of the film. Well, it might have looked quite simple on paper but it is however didn’t materialise as expected on the screen as things go awry from scene one.

There is no basic seriousness in the film and the emotional connect takes a beating. The first half has routine romance and that too is prolonged for no reason. It is only when the heroine comes on screen, things look good. But the manner in which the director has narrated the film on a disappointing note is there for us all to see.

One of the solace of the film is the music and BGM which have been composed well. The editing could have been crisp. There is not one episode where the film clicks and after a point, later it would test the patience of the viewers. The main villain in the film lacks experience and he tries way too hard. In a way, for the storyline of this sort it is hard for the film to engage throughout the runtime.

Bottom Line- Sluggish but partly entertaining.

2.5/5
