RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap has opened up on his divorce with Aishwarya Rai after six months of marriage. Tej Pratap, the elder son of Lalu, has cited incompatible issues as the reason for divorce. He added that he told his parents about the mismatch before the marriage but none listened to him. “I had told my parents that I did not wish to marry at this moment of time. But nobody listened to me. Ours was a mismatch. I am a simple man with simple habits while she is a modern woman, educated in Delhi and used to life in a metropolis,” said Tej Pratap.
Ask him about his decision at a time when his father Lalu, has taken ill, Tej says, “I have been living a stifled (ghut ghut ke) life. How long can one go on like this?”
