Mechanic Rocky OTT:
Mechanic Rocky, the latest Telugu action drama starring Vishwak Sen, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Shraddha Srinath, premiered on November 21, 2024, in Hyderabad. Written and directed by Ravi Teja Mullapudi, the movie hit theaters on November 22, receiving mixed reviews. While the second half of the film was praised by some, the overall response was average. This has raised questions about its box office performance during its opening weekend.
The movie follows Rocky (played by Vishwak Sen), a mechanic who also runs a driving school with his father (Naresh VK). Their lives take a turn when a local gangster, Akki Reddy (Sunil), attempts to seize their land. To save their property, Rocky tries to arrange ₹40 lakh. Tragedy strikes when his father passes away, leaving behind an insurance policy worth ₹2 crore. However, Rocky discovers he isn’t the nominee, adding another twist to his struggle.
After its theatrical run, Mechanic Rocky is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Although an official date hasn’t been announced, the film is expected to arrive on the platform by mid-December or during the Christmas season. Fans eagerly awaiting the OTT release can expect further updates soon.
The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including: Vishwak Sen as Nagumomu Rakesh (Rocky), Meenakshi Chaudhary as Priya and Shraddha Srinath as Maya. Mechanic Rocky was produced by Ram Talluri under the SRT Entertainments banner. The technical team includes Manojh Reddy Katasani as the cinematographer, Anwar Ali as the editor and Jakes Bejoy as the music composer.
