One of the world’s popular bands, Coldplay has performed live in Mumbai at the Global Citizen Initiative Festival. The six-hour long event was held in MMRDA Grounds in Bandra-Kurla Complex.
Various Bollywood celebrities like Shahrukh Khan, Farhan Akthar, Vivek Oberoi, Ranveer Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia were present at the event. Even Rana Dagubbati, KTR and Nithiin went for the festival. The main highlight of the festival was the 90 minute performance given by Coldplay. Lead singer Chris Martin sang popular songs like Paradise and Fix you which entralled the audience. But what was the main showstopper was the jamming of Vande Materam by both Chris Martin and AR Rahman. Chris Martin bid adieu to the crowd by singing Chana Mereya from the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
