The theatres are slowly but steadily getting back to normal and Sankranthi showed that if the films are good, the audience will surely come to the theatres even during the time of Corona. That is the reason, the summer releases are getting heated up.
Things have turned in such a way that producers are taking direct fights with each other and are releasing their films on the same days just for ego issues. On March 11th four medium-budget films are fighting it out with each other. If this was not enough, on April 16th, two biggies in the form of Nani’s Tuck Jagadish and Chay’s Love Story are coming out taking on one another. This is not a good sign says an industry insider. So, will these two films avoid the fight and give each other space in the days to come, only time will tell.
