Kamal Haasan, the acclaimed actor who needs no introduction, is currently occupied with the shooting of Indian 2, an original sequel to the 1996 blockbuster film Indian. Star director Shankar Shanmugam is helming this highly anticipated project.
While the movie is being made, Kamal Haasan has also announced a new project, tentatively titled KH 233. The film will be directed by H Vinoth, known for his previous work Thunivu. Kamal Haasan is not only acting in this film but also serving as its producer.
Social media is buzzing with rumours that Netflix has offered a whopping sum of Rs. 125 crores for the post-theatrical rights of the film. However, there has been no official statement from either the filmmakers or the OTT platform.
Regarding Indian 2, the movie is still in the production phase. Kajal Aggarwal is the leading actress in this flick, and Rakul Preet Singh is also part of this highly anticipated film. The release date for Indian 2 is set for April 2024.
