Young actor Nithiin who belongs to Telangana region, has tactfully chosen a popular folk song ‘Pedda Puli’ for his upcoming film ‘Chal Mohana Ranga.” Although, it’s a Telangana folk song performed by various folk artists during Bonalu festival where the song poetically explains the heroic deeds of Gandi Maisamma, but actually it is quite popular in two Telugu states,” aver makers.
The popular song has been recreated by director Krishna Chaitanya and composer Thaman for their wholesome entertainer. “We wanted something special since it is the 25th film of Nitthin and using this chartbuster for his introduction in the film. Actually, introduction songs are meant to enthrall star’s fan following and Krishna Chaitanya’s idea aptly fit the bill. In the film, Nitthin in a celebration mood as he gets a visa for US and dances in gay abandon with friends,” add makers.
N Sudhakar Reddy, the producer of the movie, has sourced everything for the song. From bringing in various kinds of folk performers to recreating the overall Bonalu setup, he has done it all.
