Pani OTT: All you need to know about Joju George’s action thriller

The Malayalam film Pani, which hit theaters on October 24, 2024 is all set for its OTT debut. After being a commercial success in cinemas, this gripping action-thriller will be available for streaming on Sony LIV from January 16, 2025.

The story revolves around a couple leading a peaceful life in Thrissur, Kerala. The man, head of a real estate firm, enjoys life with his family and friends. However, trouble arises when two young men with dubious intentions disrupt their peace. This leads to a series of intense events as the man seeks revenge to protect his family.

Pani stars Joju George, who not only plays the lead role but also wrote and directed the movie. The ensemble cast includes Sagar Surya, Junaiz VP of Bigg Boss Malayalam fame, Bobby Kurian, Abhinaya, Abhaya Hiranmayi, Seema, Chandini Sreedharan, Prashanth Alexander and others.

The cinematography is by Venu and Jinto George, while Manu Antony handled the editing. The music, a vital part of the film’s atmosphere, was composed by Vishnu Vijay, Sam CS, and Santhosh Narayanan, who also worked on the background score.

Sony LIV announced the OTT release with a promotional poster, stating, “Pani udane kittum. The gripping revenge saga that marked Joju George’s directorial debut is coming to Sony LIV on Jan 16th.”

With a mix of family emotions, thrilling twists, and action-packed sequences, Pani promises to be an engaging watch. The movie explores themes of love, betrayal, and the lengths one can go to for justice.
