Pooja Hegde charges a whopping fee for special song
Pooja Hegde, known for her work in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films, has been struggling to land major roles in the South Indian industry. With younger actresses signing multiple films, she has been looking for a strong comeback. Now, she has secured a special song in Coolie, the upcoming film starring Rajinikanth and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
A grand set has been constructed for the song, which will feature both Rajinikanth and Pooja Hegde. Reports suggest that the actress has charged a hefty fee of ₹2 crores for this appearance, and the filmmakers have agreed to the amount. Anirudh Ravichander has composed a lively tune for the song, aiming to create another chartbuster.

Previously, Tamannaah Bhatia’s special song in Rajinikanth’s Jailer became a massive hit, and the Coolie team is following a similar approach to appeal to the audience. Alongside Rajinikanth, the film features stars like Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj and Soubin Shahir.
The shooting of Coolie is nearing completion and the film is expected to release later this year. Produced by Sun Pictures, this pan-Indian project is creating high expectations. After finishing Coolie, Rajinikanth will move on to Jailer 2.
