Director Maruthi’s Prathi Roju Pandage featuring Sai Dharam Tej and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles released today. The family drama has already got good buzz with its trailer and quirky songs. The film is important for the lead actors and the filmmaker as well as they hope to strike a hit with the flick yet again. Interestingly, Sai Dharam and Raashi had worked in Supreme in 2016, which turned out to be a massive hit. With the two getting back together for Prathi Roju Pandage, expectations are very high.
Story:
Pasupuleti Raghuramaiah of Rajahmundry is an elderly man. All his children are well settled in a foreign land. e come to know that he develops lung cancer. His grandson (Sai Dharam Tej) leaves the US to cheer up the last day of his grandfather’s life. How Tej keep his grandfather happy in his last days and how he taught a lesson to the family members.
Analysis:
The film is a genre which has family drama and emotions which should be like a festival everyday. The entire first half is entertaining and all the comedy scenes worked out really well for the film. The interval twist is also quite impressive. However, the second half is not that engaging but the actors’ comedy timing and energetic performances will engage the audience. Especially, Sai Dharam Tej’s performance is a delight to watch. The emotional scenes in the mid-second half are boring and it would have been good if the director had chopped off the unnecessary scenes from the film. Apart from this, the first half, story narration and performances will be the biggest plus points of this film. To conclude, ‘Prathi Roju Pandaage’ is a worth watching movie.
