Kangana Ranaut starrer 2014 film Queen was both critically acclaimed and also successful at the box-office. Kangana even got the national award for her performance in the film. Now, this film will be remade in four South Indian languages at the same time.
Actually, Queen’s remake is on cards since a long time but it seems to be finalized now. The Malayalam and Tamil versions will be directed by senior actress Revathi. Amala Paul will play the lead role in Malayalam version and Tamannaah has signed for the lead role in Tamil version. Versatile actor Prakash Raj will direct Kannada version with Parul Yadav in the titular role. Avakai Biryani and Ko ante Koti fame Anish Kuruvilla will helm Telugu project. The lead role in Telugu version is yet to be confirmed. More details regarding this film will be out soon.
